Steven Kachelmeier has been named chair of The University of Texas at Austin McCombs Faculty of Organization Division of Accounting, powerful Sept. 1.
Kachelmeier joined the McCombs school immediately immediately after earning his Ph.D. from the College of Florida in 1988. He retains the Randal B. McDonald Chair in Accounting, to which he was appointed in 2009.
